Riding Schedule
"Winter Tempo Ride": This A level ride starts every Sunday at 7:30 AM and runs from January until March/April. It is a 38 mile ride that is specifically designed for racers, fit recreational riders or riders who
are serious about improving for the upcoming season. The ride will be a steady tempo pace and vary between 19-22 mph depending on time of the year, with an average overall speed of 19-21
mph**. The route is mostly flat with some rolling hills. Route may vary
due to wind and weather conditions. The
ride will often be accompanied by local pro and amateur racers. For

"Arc
de Triomphe":
This B level ride starts every Sunday at 7:30 AM and runs from March to October depending on weather and interest. It is a 32 mile ride that is designed to introduce new road riders to group
riding. Pace is between 17-19 mph depending on overall group fitness . The route is mostly flat with several areas featuring hills. Road surfaces are in excellent
condition. Experienced PCC ride leaders will teach you how to
ride in a group, ride safely, ride in a pace-line and drafting techniques. We
will answer your questions about the cycling basics. This ride is very relaxed and has a friendly social atmosphere. The ride will
often be accompanied by local pro and amateur racers who need a recovery day from racing or advanced training rides. No one gets left behind**. This is a good ride for beginners to test their cycling abilities.

Although considered a
"B" ride, participates should not attempt the ride with a mountain or
hybrid bike.
"Elize de Champs": This A level ride starts every Tuesday
evening at 5:30 PM and runs from March until September. Distance is 45 miles with an overall average speed of
19-21+mph. The route is mostly flat with some
hills and rollers. Road surfaces are in excellent
condition. The ride will mimic race like conditions with high speed pace lines and sprints. While the average
speed is consistent, riders should be aware that higher speeds than the overall average
are normal during most of the ride. We reassemble after each sprint. Riders
should be experienced with group riding. Experienced PCC ride leaders will
look after first time riders so they don’t get dropped in unfamiliar territory.

Directions and Weather cancellations for all PCC rides: Merighi's Savoy Inn, corner of Landis Ave.
and Union Road. Park in back lot near woods next to Union Road. Helmet and tire kit required
on all rides. All posted ride times do not change unless special circumstances dictate otherwise. Weather cancellations are posted under the "Latest News" link and we will also send out an e-mail to notify you as well.
