Welcome to Paramount Cycling Club (PCC), Inc. Dennis Gunn and I consider ourselves very fortunate to have learned the intricacies of cycling from some of the very best teachers the sport has to offer. Now we both feel compelled to give back to the sport, which has been so rewarding to us.

The idea of a different type of cycling club immediately came to mind. Why, do you remember your first group ride? Were you left behind or even lost? Cycling can be very intimidating and difficult to learn when you first start riding. Many novice riders take up cycling only to be dropped, lose their confidence and never be seen again. This happens because they did not have enough knowledge, training, or receive proper instruction from other riders when they needed it the most.

We want to change that. We want to be the club with the reputation for being capable of helping new, or even established riders, elevate their riding ability in the safest riding environment possible.

PCC ride leaders are friendly, knowledgeable and have not forgotten what it is like to be new in the sport. Our ride leaders will be spread throughout the peloton helping you during each ride. The 2010 season has started so we look forward to seeing you soon!
